Bharti Airtel’s digital arm, Xtelify, has launched Airtel Cloud, a new cloud platform built specifically for Indian businesses. What makes it special is that it’s developed and hosted entirely in India, keeping all data within the country. This helps meet the growing demand for secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud services.

Built for Scale and Savings

Airtel Cloud is designed to handle a massive 1.4 billion transactions per minute. It also promises to cut costs by up to 40%, making it more affordable for both companies and government organizations. With stricter laws around keeping data within the country, like the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, Airtel Cloud offers a fully compliant and secure solution.

Data Stays in India

Gopal Vittal, Bharti Airtel’s Vice Chairman and Managing Director, called this launch a “milestone” for the company. He emphasized that over 300 cloud experts manage the platform, which also powers Airtel’s own digital operations. Importantly, Airtel handles all data operations within Indian borders — ensuring full data sovereignty and avoiding reliance on outside vendors.

AI-Ready and Globally Connected

Airtel Cloud is not just secure — it’s also ready for the future. The platform supports AI tools and easily connects with existing digital systems. This will help Indian companies move faster in their digital journey.

To expand its reach, Xtelify has also partnered with global telecom leaders like Singtel (Singapore), Globe Telecom (Philippines), and Airtel Africa. This step shows Airtel’s plans to take its Indian-built cloud technology to the global market. Alongside Airtel Cloud, Xtelify has also launched an AI-powered software suite for telecom companies worldwide.

Boosting India’s Digital Independence

With Airtel Cloud, the company aims to support the digital goals of Indian enterprises. It offers a strong, flexible, and future-proof cloud system — fully built in India for Indian needs.

As data privacy and self-reliance become more important, Airtel Cloud stands out as a timely and powerful step toward a digitally secure India.
