In a significant effort to address the global cybersecurity challenges, the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) is actively working to build a global network of cybersecurity experts. The initiative, spearheaded by DSCI’s Chief Executive, Vinayak Godse, aims to foster collaborations between Indian cybersecurity professionals and their counterparts across the world. Godse shared this during the India-Singapore Cyber Security Conclave 2025, which took place on Friday.

“We are hosting this first conclave and are also organizing similar interactions in other regions, including the upcoming India-US Cyber Security Conclave in San Francisco next week,” said Godse. This move reflects DSCI’s commitment to expanding the reach of Indian cybersecurity experts and allowing them to collaborate with global professionals to create a stronger, more integrated international cybersecurity network.

These conclaves serve as an important platform for cybersecurity professionals to come together, exchange knowledge, and explore how both industry and government can work together to provide enhanced value to global cybersecurity systems. Godse emphasized that the cybersecurity space requires extensive collaboration and partnerships, which should not be restricted to any single region but must operate on an international scale.

“Cybersecurity initiatives must go beyond one region and require a global effort. These collaborations are essential for sharing knowledge and building resilience in the global cyber ecosystem,” he added.

The Singapore conclave marked the beginning of these global efforts, as the country hosts a significant number of Indian cybersecurity professionals and serves as the regional headquarters for many global companies. Furthermore, cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune in India continue to remain major hubs for cybersecurity talent, strengthening India’s role in global cybersecurity.

Looking ahead, DSCI plans to continue this momentum by organizing future conclaves. The next one will take place in Dubai in May 2025, followed by another in Riyadh in November, with GCC countries participating. These events will allow professionals from various regions to come together, share their expertise, and help build a safer digital environment for the future.
