Christian Dior informed some of its customers via text message on Monday about a data breach involving unauthorized access to their personal information.

The breach was discovered on May 7, when Dior identified that external parties had accessed certain customer data without permission.
The leaked information includes customers’ names, gender, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, purchase amounts, shopping preferences, and other user data.
However, Dior clarified that no financial details, such as bank account numbers, IBANs, or credit card information, were included in the compromised data.

Dior customer service confirmed that they sent the message only to affected customers. The company urged Chinese customers to stay alert and avoid opening suspicious messages, calls, or emails from unknown sources. They also warned customers not to share verification codes, passwords, or other sensitive information.

A Dior customer service representative confirmed the incident. “We recently discovered a security breach, which led to unauthorized access to some customer data,” the representative said. “Upon discovering the issue, we took immediate action to contain the breach,” the spokesperson added.

The representative also noted that the investigation is still ongoing, and no further details are available yet.
“If there are any developments in the investigation, customers will be updated directly via phone,” the representative assured.
