Sandeep Srivastava, Director of Product – Agentic AI at Microsoft, has publicly criticized FIITJEE for what he claims is systemic mismanagement, inadequate digital infrastructure, and serious breaches of FIITJEE data breach. In a strongly worded LinkedIn post, Srivastava shared his personal experience with the coaching institute, advising parents not to fall for what he described as “resurrection propaganda.”

Srivastava said, “DO NOT FALL FOR FIITJEE.” “I lost ₹71,000, you can save yours,” he said, describing how, despite paying in advance and following up for five months, FIITJEE did not conduct a single class for his daughter. He called the state of FIITJEE’s online platform “incapable of delivering quality lectures as per a plan” and criticized the academic office for lacking accountability due to the constant turnover of teaching and support staff. According to him, the digital infrastructure “does not exist,” with FIITJEE recording classes on phones and using chalk-and-board methods to teach.

He further alleged that FIITJEE’s helpline is unresponsive, with erroneous or absent communication. Srivastava claimed that the institute repeatedly missed or altered scheduled classes without notice. “They make promises they don’t keep. They keep cancelling calls with parents, scheduled class start dates,” he said.

One of the most serious allegations raised by Srivastava is the FIITJEE data breach. “Worst of all, they also leak out all your personal information and that of your kid to their competition… Their staff is selling it for money,” he wrote. Srivastava also mentioned that since he enrolled with FIITJEE, multiple rival coaching institutes, including Allen, Vedantu, and Narayana, had contacted him.

After failing to get a refund for the ₹71,000 he paid in advance, Srivastava revealed that he took legal action against the institute. “I am now pursuing them in consumer court,” he said, urging the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to investigate FIITJEE’s operations and curb the menace of cheating and fraud.

He also added that he isn’t alone, sharing that he has heard “similar stories from other parents.” As of now, FIITJEE has not issued any official response to the allegations.
